Lam Line Goes Live

The new FGS Lamination Line went live early in March. This launch was 8 months in the making and has ran very smoothly. We spent a lot of time agonising about how we would be able to produce notoriously difficult Toughened Lam, to an industry high standard. We eventually managed to secure a partner that was producing very high end edge finish and was willing to share their IP. This gave us the confidence to purchase the line knowing we would be able to manufacture excellent Toughened Lam

The new line was commissioned early March and from the first week, was producing high quality edge finished Lam. We have been extremely happy with the investment and think it will greatly improve the quality of glass available to our Victorian Customers.
